From time to time, Local Pickins, LLC (“Local Pickins”) conducts giveaways or contests (a “Promotion”) on popular social media websites, such as Facebook.com and Twitter.com (“Social Media Sites”) and at local events. We love it when you (“you” or “Participant”), our followers, and fans participate, but we do have to lay out some ground rules for everyone.
Your Agreement
By participating in a Promotion, you agree to these Contest and Giveaway Rules (“Contest Rules”). Please read them carefully prior to participating. Winning is subject to your agreement with these Contest Rules. Participation in the Promotion constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to these Contest Rules and Local Pickins’ decisions regarding any Promotions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotions. Your participation is also subject to Local Pickins’ Terms of Service.
No Purchase Necessary
All Promotion materials are property of Local Pickins. No purchase is necessary to participate in any Promotion. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning any Promotion.
Who Can Participate?
Participants must be 18 years or older to participate and share a photo on the Local Pickins iphone application (“post a pickin”). Employees, representatives, and their immediate families are not eligible for any Promotion. Local Pickins will determine giveaway recipients in its sole discretion. If you have received a prize in connection with the promotion in the last thirty (30) days, you will not be eligible for any Promotion. Participants who participate in a Promotion in an unsportsmanlike manner will be disqualified from the Promotion and all future promotions. If a Promotion prize recipient is determined to be ineligible, Local Pickins may or may not give away the prize to the next eligible Participant.
How to Participate?
Local Pickins will provide the details and requirements for entry at the Food Truck Festival of New England – Cambridge and its website. These details and requirements may include, taking a photo, registering with Local Pickins via the iPhone app, and completing the Post a Pickin process.
Local Pickins is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or postage-due entries, which will be disqualified. Any Participant found to share offensive photos, as ruled by the Local Pickins staff, will be ineligible. Posting more than one pickin does not increase your chances of winning.
If you are selected as a winner, you will be required to privately provide your name, address, and other personal information through email necessary to receive the prize if you are selected as the winner. By participating in any Promotion, you are providing your relevant contact information to Local Pickins only. Your personal information will not be shared with third parties except as noted below.
Local Pickins reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Local Pickins reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Local Pickins in its sole discretion.
Use of Name/Likeness of Winners
Each winning Participant, by acceptance of a prize, grants Local Pickins the right to publicize his/her winner information (name, city and state of residence, photograph, voice, statements and/or other likeness) and prize information for promotional purposes in any media or format without limitation and without further compensation, consideration, permission, or notification, unless prohibited by law. All persons making a submission hereby grant to Local Pickins the irrevocable worldwide, royalty free right and license to use, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of and publicly display the submission in accordance with these rules. The foregoing grant includes the right to display the name and any likeness submitted by the Participant.
Mobile Participation
If you opt to use or access the Local Pickins iPhone app via your wireless mobile device (which may only be available via participating wireless carriers and is not required to enter a Promotion), standard text messaging and/or data rates may apply for each message sent or received from your handset according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier.
Subject to United States and State Law
Local Pickins’ Promotions are subject to all of the laws of the United States and all localities where a Participant may reside and is void where prohibited or conditioned by federal or local laws or regulations of any kind. Our Promotions are conducted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Release of Liability
By participating in a Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Contest Rules, the requirements as listed by Local Pickins Account at the time the Promotion is announced or promoted, and waive any and all claims against Local Pickins, its licensors, employees, and affiliates as well as all Social Media Sites for any injury, damage, or loss of any kind that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Promotion or receipt of the prize or in any travel or activity related to the Promotion.

No Promotions are sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any third parties other than Local Pickins, LLC .

For a copy of the winners list, please email info@localpickins.com within thirty (30) days after the end of any given Promotion.
