With Memorial Day behind us the Farmers markets are gearing up and today I ventured off to the Davis Square Farmers Market to check out the vendors in attendance. Word of warning, never show up at the opening hour because not all of the vendors have arrived yet. However, a few that were there, tickled my fancy and got me all curious about what sort of pickins they were showcasing. In particular, Bug Hill Farm, a nothing but berry farm. All sorts of berries as the summer progresses, will be showcased from this farm! I was intrigued and can’t wait for the arrival of gooseberries in order to make a mean gooseberry pie. You never know what one can find at these local farmers’ markets!
